So many Dragons!

[Video]

[The leaves on the tree shake as a small girl in a red outfit climbs out onto the branch. She has a little pink camera with her which she uses often. ]

THIS IS AMAZING!

[Lady Aska moves the pink camera up to snap an image of something in the sky. ]

We had no idea there were so many kinds of dragons!

[That is when she grabs the Network Device and uses it to record video of the scene before her. Pteranodon fill the blue sky. Diplodocus and Amargasaurus graze on the plants and trees near the meadow filled with Dromiceiomimus.

Suddenly the Video shifts focus, becoming wobbly and unstable as Lady Aska slides down the tree and walks over to a nest she had spotted earlier.]

Now we have a question.

[The eggs in the nest are zoomed in on. ]

We need to know what kind of dragon comes out of these. We would like to find a dragon that isn’t too big… but it shouldn’t be too small either.

At least they don’t climb.

[This decided as she pouts at the group of little green creatures hopping around under the tree. ]

[Running after being in a fight with a pyrokinetic mad woman while dodging flesh eating dinosaurs would've caused him to go back after his self-imposed break. That was until Aska needed to be saved from the peril she found herself in. It took him nearly twenty minutes of plunging through the bush before he arrived at the location he received from the girl.

The compy's still remained at the base of the tree hopping around and squawking and sadly not noticing him. Huey took out his gas mask and fixed it around his mouth and nose before pulling out two cans of tear gas and tossing them towards the dinosaurs. A small smirk spread across his face as the terrified sounds of the dinosaurs filled the area before they went tearing off in various directions from the gas cloud.]

[Aska for her part had stayed up in the tree taking more pictures of all the dinosaur creatures she could see from that height. The squeaking and playing to the Compys far below really wasn’t much trouble if there was no way for them to get up here. Also the idea of taking one of them home had been shelved. If these creatures were not actually dragons then she really didn’t want any of them.

It was when the playing of happy dinosaurs turned into the frantic retreating squawks that she finally noticed her rescuer had arrived. She peered over the edge of the branch to make certain before coming down though. The possibility that a larger dinosaur had run them off wasn’t entirely ignored. ]

Hey, it is you! We were wondering if you would be able to find us.
Did you have any trouble?

[He shakes his head while taking off his mask before holding it out for Aska to take. The boy had a feeling he was going to need his remaining stock just to get the girl back to the city and it would be better for her to keep the mask in case he needed to lead any pursuing dinosaurs into his favored deterrent.]

[Once she climbs down to the ground Aska does reach out to take that mask. She moves it from hand to hand before finally deciding this was something neat. ]

Did you run into very many dinosaur things? We saw a really big one just a little while ago! All of the other dinosaurs looked scared of that one.

[At hearing 'really big one' he freezes up and just stares at the girl. Oh it was time to run like their lives depended on it, which was more than likely. Adrenaline kicking in he takes Aska's free hand into his left and starts to run hoping that she'd be able to keep up.]

[Her legs being much shorter… her version of keeping up is mostly being dragged and pulled along her feet only occasionally touching the ground. ]

What!? What it is? The big dinosaur must be a really bad one right??

[She answers the question herself since… its not like he can right now. ]

We knew it! We knew something with teeth that sharp looking had to be evil!!

[Huey would've turned his head back and told his companion to stop yelling in a highly direct manner if he could so he instead decided on a harsh look which implied that silence and discretion must be adhered to unless they attracted the interest of any super predators.

Though knowing how irony enjoyed paying off Lady Luck in any case involving him, said super predator (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giganotosaurus) had decided to make its presence known from their right with a roar which caused everything to stop as chaos was about to be unleashed.

Yes, Huey Freeman's luck is a total bitch at imperative times.]

[What? Do you mean yelling a lot in a very high tone of voice might attract the attention of something? Don’t be ridiculous! That never happ…--]

AGH!!! It’s the big mean dinosaur all of the other ones ran away from!!

Do you think he saw us?

[Yes, now she whispers, when it is too late to do any good.

The Giganotosaurus paused there to sniff the air before looking right at the pair of tasty looking creatures. With a second roar it charged forward, not about to miss the opportunity for a snack like this. ]

[Damn, damn, damn! Why did you have to be a screamer, Aska? He whirls breaks away and begins to run while pulling Aska into his arms and running with all the might granted by his body releasing its limiters which only somebody laughing at him or mortal danger was able to perform.

The presence of the large meat eater behind them started what could be described as a minor stampede to form of grazing dinosaurs and smaller carnivores who decided wisely that they didn't want to move down the food chain. Leaping over a fallen log, he pushed himself harder and into the thick of the retreating animals.]

Wah!

[The proper response to suddenly finding oneself being spirited away by a very speedy runner. The dinosaur behind them gained ground and then ever so slowly began to fall away. It didn’t give up though in fact it seemed to be trying to catch them even now.
The best thing to do at a time like this? Why… pull out your little pink camera and snap a few action shots of the creature chasing them and of course the herds of disturbed dinosaurs running around them.
Only when one of the more agile dinos jostles past the pair does Asks think to ask. ]

Do you think we can get away like this… or should we use our magic? We really don’t want to be eaten by a thing like that!

[Talking of magic has the prime effect of distracting him long enough for him to trip over and exposed root. Quickly, he holds the girl closer to him while positioning his body to take the brunt of the impact which would only serve to compound the pain and soreness he'd feel later on from overtaxing his muscles.

Face set with determination, Huey staggered to his feet and adjusted the weight in his arms before running once again. Though the time it took for him to recover was enough to allow the giganotosarus to catch up a bit to them and the tail end of the stampede they found themselves at.]

[Aska had no intention of causing so much havoc with just a simple question. She screamed as they fell to the ground but surprisingly the expected pain never came. Some how Huey had managed to protect her from the majority of the impact. He was even up and moving again before she could ask if he was hurt.

He was trying so hard… ]

ALRIGHT! That does it!

[With that she shoved the pink camera into her peach shaped bag and grabbed her magic scroll and brush.]

We are tired of being chased and we don’t want to see our friends get hurt any more!

[The running, jumping and screeching rude dinosaurs made the drawing difficult to manage but, she was determined now. Even if there were a few odd squiggles when brush met paper at a strange moment she finally completed the drawing. She had to hold the paper in her mouth when she began the hand motions that would bring her drawing to life but once she had completed the sequence a… large pink dinosaur wearing a bow appears between the fleeing pair and their pursuing monster. With a roar it opened its mouth and launched a blazing ball of fire at the Giganotosaurus. ]

[Upon hearing a roar closer in proximity to them, Huey turned around and looked like he was about to resign himself to death before he noticed the coloring and the bow on the other dinosaur.

His shock and disbelief only grew exponentially as he saw the oddly colored beast pretty much incinerate the large predator which was chasing them. Setting Aska onto the ground before he slowly reached into his bag, pulled out his tablet and wrote a short message which fully captured the predominate thought in his head.]

[Now safely on the ground she uses a few hand motions to make the drawing return to its scroll… before looking over to read Huey’s message. ]

That is our magic. We can bring anything we draw to life.

[Might have been helpful to know she could do that earlier maybe… ]

You can run really fast! We didn’t know you could do that.

[It seriously would've been but that's neither here or there. At least they're alive. Just give him a minute or so to collect himself.]

Like being chased by a dinosaur.

[She nods. It was a very good skill to have.

Since they were taking a moment to rest she can now ask…

Are you ok? Since you fell did you scratch your knee or anything? We have some Band-Aids!

[Points at her bag indicating she can get some of those bandages out if need be. ]

[And he's only telling half-truth though the younger doesn't need to know that. Instead he gives the girl an exhausted smiled and holds out his right hand for her to take.]

[The ruse works. Even if he does look really tired the little Princess sees no reason not to believe him when he says he is ok.
His hand is accepted with an enthusiastic nod. ]

Yea! We think we have had enough of the dinosaurs…
