So many Dragons!

[Video]

[The leaves on the tree shake as a small girl in a red outfit climbs out onto the branch. She has a little pink camera with her which she uses often. ]

THIS IS AMAZING!

[Lady Aska moves the pink camera up to snap an image of something in the sky. ]

We had no idea there were so many kinds of dragons!

[That is when she grabs the Network Device and uses it to record video of the scene before her. Pteranodon fill the blue sky. Diplodocus and Amargasaurus graze on the plants and trees near the meadow filled with Dromiceiomimus.

Suddenly the Video shifts focus, becoming wobbly and unstable as Lady Aska slides down the tree and walks over to a nest she had spotted earlier.]

Now we have a question.

[The eggs in the nest are zoomed in on. ]

We need to know what kind of dragon comes out of these. We would like to find a dragon that isn’t too big… but it shouldn’t be too small either.

Well, I do not see any dragons here, nor any dragon eggs. But I would not give you a dragon egg unless I were sure you could take care of it properly.

We are a Princess, of course we could take care of a dragon egg! We would even sleep with it!

That is not necessary, though it would be good to talk pleasantly around and to the egg. You would have to keep it very warm and agree to let it become the companion of anyone or no one once it hatches. I do not think it is right for hatchlings to be pressured. How old are you?

We have heard about those kinds of rules before. Umi told us that dragons like to chose who they belong to. It would be sad if the dragon chose some one else, but as long as we could still be friends that would be ok!

Ah. Well then there is plenty of time for you to learn everything you need to about dragons and then I am sure some day a dragon will choose you.

I suppose it would be best to ask someone who knows about the dragons from your world, but I could tell you about the different types of dragons from my world, and I could tell you stories about dragons such as the Yellow Emperor of China. And when you are a bit bigger you could learn about riding dragons.

I live in a cave, not far from the lighthouse. It is not very easy to get to, but I enjoy spending time in Xanadu, so we could meet there if that is easier.

We live in a beach house that isn’t too far away from the lighthouse, but Elder kept telling us to stay out of the woods so if it is in there… we should probably meet at Xanadu or on the beach. The beach should be big enough too!
