We are being followed

You can stop following us already!

[She walks a few more paces through the dense forest bushes before turning around to shoo something again. ]

We said you can stop following us!

Is a creature like this dangerous? It won’t leave us alone…

[The Network Device then displays an image of a pure white unicorn who has decided to follow this little Princess as she explores its home. ]

No, if fact you've pretty much lucked out in the benign mystical creatures front.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
What do you mean we lucked out?

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
GOOD!

Then we finally found a creature that won’t try to eat us!! Some other person was telling us unicorns were dangerous and attacked people… but that doesn’t seem true at all!

From the stories I know, unicorns allow girls to get near them.

Granted then that was in The City a while back was a bit different.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Since it won’t stop following us… that makes more sense than what we were told before.

Do any of the stories say how to make them go away?

[identity profile] child-radical.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
There's only two. One you can't do because you fail to meet the gender criteria and the other because you're too damn young for it.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
[Doesn't get it at all... ]

Does that mean we are stuck with it?

[Considers this. ]

Well, it is kind of cute... Maybe this isn't such a bad thing.

[identity profile] child-radical.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
[You better not get it for a long, long, LONG time. -_-]

Just stay safe and get back the moment you hear the first alarm go off. If you get into trouble before then contact myself or somebody else and ride the unicorn.

It should probably allow you to.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
We don’t get into trouble all of the time…

[Feel free to scoff at that. She does have a tendency to find trouble. ]

But, if we could ride the unicorn… It would make it easier to find these stone things!

[identity profile] child-radical.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
They don't have a radar set for finding pieces of flint.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
[Pout. ]

But it is… taller… than us. That has to help some!

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
WHHHHHHhhhhyyyy not?

We could at least see over these bushes!

[Meanwhile she is so trying to ride this unicorn now. Luckily it doesn't really seem to mind, even if it does shy away a little as the girl gets louder. ]

[identity profile] child-radical.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
[Stop screaming Aska. Ogres like to eat princesses.]

If it was that easy to find, everyone would be walking around using stilts and other height augmenting instruments.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
Oh.

That makes sense actually…

[Aska looks at the unicorn whose back she is now sitting on. ]

Do you know where we can find any of those flint things the deities want?

[The creature watches the girl carefully, before picking a direction and heading off that way with Aska riding along. ]

Maybe it does know after all!

This about sums up his reaction to everything.

[identity profile] child-radical.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 02:41 am (UTC)(link)

Lol!

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
[The unicorn leads the way to a small clearing. It looks like a place where people had been working before since there are trees that have been cut down and rocks that have been broken apart. The place has been long abandoned but there laying on the ground mostly obscured by years of mud buildup was an old flint ax with a broken handle. No doubt the reason why it had been abandoned there. ]

Hey look! The unicorn did know where to go!

[Beaming at the unicorn. ]

Thank you very much!
We knew we could find one of these!

[identity profile] child-radical.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
[He's just gonna shake his head at the audacity of the entire situation, go pour himself a cup of tea to calm his twice-frayed nerves, and take a few calming breaths before responding.]

I honestly can't believe that thing knew where to look.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
It was a good thing we decided to ask then.

[Retrieving the ax head… ew, its all muddy…
Before hopping back onto the unicorns back.
]

Can you take us back to the City now?

[Off the pair go again. This time back the way Aska had come. ]

[identity profile] servessithis.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Odd, unicorns are not normally so docile.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
EHHHHH!?!?

Then you mean it really IS going to attack us?!

[identity profile] servessithis.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
From what I know, they typically attack on sight. This one has not, though I would be cautious around it, as it is still a wild animal.

[Runs back and forth in front of the … mildly curious unicorn who just watches the little panic attack. ]

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey! [Points a finger directly at the video screen. ]
If they are so mean how come this one hasn’t attacked us yet?

[identity profile] servessithis.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Either unicorns are different here, or this one is tame.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Scaring us like this…

If it is tame then there is nothing for us to worry about…

[identity profile] servessithis.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
It certainly looks that way.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
So what is a unicorn… anyway?

[identity profile] servessithis.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
The simple explaination: a while horse with a horn.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
We can see that…

What is the …not simple… explanation?

[identity profile] servessithis.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
They are rare, mystical creatures known for aggressiveness that only the foolish try to tame.

[identity profile] laughswithfan.livejournal.com 2011-06-16 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[Blinks at the screen… then at the unicorn that allows her to pet it. ]

That doesn’t sound right at all. Are you sure that is the right story?

[identity profile] servessithis.livejournal.com 2011-06-17 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
Quite sure.
