All by ourselves

[Video]

[ The video begins as the person holding the Network Device wanders down a long vacant hallway. The girl stops at each door she comes to, opening them and looking around before wandering on to the next room.
Living room - empty
Bedroom - empty
Bathroom - thankfully empty
Kitchen - also empty…
With a sob the camera is placed on the table as Lady Aska climbs up into one of the tall chairs. ]

When we arrived there were a lot of people here in this beach house. Now we are the only one left…

[ Eyes that have clearly been filled with tears become glassy again as a fresh batch forms and runs down her cheeks. ]

What are we supposed to do now? We are so lonely…

[OOC: Only the Lonely Curse - Though this loneliness has been growing since the other members of the Rayearth Beach house left the City. Lady Aska has been living in this big house all by herself since they disappeared.

[ Tyr is not that experienced with kids. He didn't realise it would result in a bigger mess! But he is glad she didn't just drop the (thankfully not full) container. ]

Good job. All right, put it in this bowl. [ He points to the empty one, an egg in one hand. ]

[He is doing a GREAT job for some one with no experience with kids.
The milk gets places into the indicated bowl with only a minor splash. ]

How come it goes over here with the egg? Doesn’t it have to make the flour and stuff wet?

[ It's that RPG leader charisma or something. ]

It will. We're not going to keep them separate forever.

[ He breaks an egg into the bowl with one hand, then the other. ]

We're just mixing it with the egg first so they can come together. It'll make it easier later.

[ He's smart enough to leave the whisking to himself. ]

[Good man. Whisking can be VERY messy. Aska just sits back and watch as the egg swiftly combines with the milk. ]

Oh, if it is something like that it makes sense. You wouldn’t want to find a big piece of egg in one of the pancakes, huh?

[ Yes, he could imagine the mess of egg and milk is much worse than just milk or just flour or just any one thing. ]

That's right. [ He thinks. He's just following what Gremio does. ] It all just comes together more easily when you're not fighting with mixing both of them in at once.

We think we know what happens next! You slowly pour the milk and eggs into the dry stuff while stirring to make sure it turns into batter, right? We saw Umi do that once.

You have a good memory!

[ He finishes combining the eggs and milk and picks up the bowl just to place it closer to her. ]

Can you hold it?

[ Opposed to dropping it. It's not too heavy, but she is a six year old kid. ]

If few dropped it we would have to start all over again…

[Not something she wants to have happen, so she is extra careful while pouring the liquid into the dry mix. No spills this time! ]

[ It seems like she can handle it, so he'll let her go ahead and pour while he mixes. ]

That's right. Let's be careful so we can avoid that...

We will.

[ So she keeps slowly pouring until all of the liquid finally makes its way into the newly mixed batter. ]

Now do we put the berries in before we cook it?

[Aska had already eaten several of the blueberries but there were plenty left for the pancakes. ]

Ah...

[ He forgot those were supposed to go in with the egg-milk combination. After a moment's hesitation, he nods. ]

Yeah. We should add them now before we forget.

[ It's mostly combined ~~and he wants some of those berries for himself~~, but it should be okay to fold them in still... ]

[Oops! Oh well, it should still work out alright, with enough berries left to snack on as well.

Aska becomes a little bored during the ingredient folding and wanders off the find the flat pan pancakes were meant to be cooked upon. There is only a minor clatter of dishes when she does find it and wrestle it free of the cabinet it was inside of. ]

We have the pan!

[ Tyr only spares her a glance while she goes off, and again when he hears the pans knocking against each other and the floor, but in the end, he still smiles. That could have gone worse... ]

Good! Just set it on the stove and I'll cook them for us.

[ ooc: Is Aska going to be staying with Tyr after the curse, too? Tyr wouldn't be cold enough to toss a little girl on the streets without anyone to look out for her. ]

Alright!

[The pan makes its way to the top of the stove only because Aska climbs up on a chair to use it as a little step stool. ]

This has been really fun, Tyr!
And getting ready to eat pancakes just makes it better!

[OOC: I do have to find some where for her to move into. I can’t see a little girl living out there on the beach all by herself for very long. If its alright with y’all she could stay with Tyr or she could start looking for a new place which ever works out best. ]

Does that mean you're going have fun setting the table for me?

[ He gives her a cheeky sort of grin as he opens the cupboard to get a few plates. ]

We can't really be ready to eat them until we do.

[ ooc: I think all my castmates are okay with her staying. ♥ One is still away on a family trip, but I think she'll be fine with it, too. /o/ ]

[Blinks at the plates before deciding. ]

We can do that!

[It is easy enough to take the plates from Tyr and set them out on the table. Searching through the drawers for which one they keep the silverware in takes a little longer, but once she tracks them down each place setting ends up with a butter knife and fork as well. ]

We… can’t reach the glasses though…

[OOC: Alright then! Since it is ok everyone, one loud Princess moving in. ^^ ]

[ He's distracted with the griddle while she sets the table and gets the silverwear, but-- No, she definitely shouldn't be climbing onto counters to get glasses ~~as he would have done when he was her age~~. ]

--Don't worry about it. I'll get them for you.

[ Turning his attention away from the stove for a moment, he goes to another cupboard to pull out a few glasses. Him, Aska, Gremio, Riou, Luc. Five in all. ]

[ ooc: Yay! Just what an apartment full of boys needs. ]

A lot of people must live here.
[Aska decides as she watches just how many glasses Tyr pulled down off the shelf. She sounds thoroughly pleased with that! ]

Oh. That means we didn’t get enough silverware.
[Back To the drawer to pull out a few more utensils. ]

[OOC: Expect cute drawings, dolls, and glitter all over the place! ]

Yeah, but they're just people I know from back home. [ Which doesn't really say anything for how many that is... ] My friend and his roommate come over here often, too.

[ But as he thinks of it, he can't help a fond smile. ] It's never really quiet around here...

[ ooc: That's just what they've always wanted! I can't wait. ]

Have we met your friend and his roommate?
[As if Tyr would know but she impractically asks anyway. ]

If not we can say hello to them when they come over. Maybe they will smell the pancakes and want some?
[Setting the newly retrieved silverware out on the table. ]

[OOC: It should be fun~! ^^]

[ He doesn't answer the first part because he honestly doesn't know. Ted isn't like Gremio, though, and Aldo... Tyr hardly knew the guy. ]

I bet they'll be able to smell the pancakes, and Ted will come rushing over wondering why I didn't tell him ahead of time...

[ Flipping the pancakes! ]

You'd probably like him, though. Ted's my best friend.

[ ooc: That's right~♥ ]

[Kids always expect people to know the answer for questions they couldn’t possibly know. ^,^ ]

We will probably like him… if he is nice.
[She might even have spoke to him before, but she doesn’t remember right now. She is far too busy finding napkins and the syrup and setting those out on the table just like the adults she watched set the table at the MKR beach house did.]

[ Sob, Tyr will learn this someday. ]

He is. He can be sort of jumpy, too. [ Nonstop fond thoughts of Ted. ] I'm sure you'll get along.

[ And he assumes she can do all that on her own without pouring syrup on her head! He has faith in her. ]

We probably will. We like most people we have met here. There are only a couple of annoying ones!

[She does manage to be safe with the syrup if only because she just sets the bottle on the table and doesn’t try to open it herself. And since she can’t think of anything else that needs to be done she takes a seat at the table herself to wait on the pancakes. ]

[ He laughs, but he hopes she isn't like Rita and finds Ted annoying. He takes a glance over his shoulder to the dining area when he can't hear her moving around anymore. Well, at least she's not trying to play in the kitchen. ]

That's how I feel, too. I haven't run into many bad people here personally.

[ He thinks the pancakes should be okay now! He flips one onto a plate. ...Well, it's a little pale... ]
