[Video]

[ The video begins as the person holding the Network Device wanders down a long vacant hallway. The girl stops at each door she comes to, opening them and looking around before wandering on to the next room.
Living room - empty
Bedroom - empty
Bathroom - thankfully empty
Kitchen - also empty…
With a sob the camera is placed on the table as Lady Aska climbs up into one of the tall chairs. ]

When we arrived there were a lot of people here in this beach house. Now we are the only one left…

[ Eyes that have clearly been filled with tears become glassy again as a fresh batch forms and runs down her cheeks. ]

What are we supposed to do now? We are so lonely…

[OOC: Only the Lonely Curse - Though this loneliness has been growing since the other members of the Rayearth Beach house left the City. Lady Aska has been living in this big house all by herself since they disappeared.

[ He's mood drops when she mentioned Umi, even though he barely knew of her. He gives her a quick squeeze of a hug. ]

Thanks... Come on, we'll make some and surprise Gremio.

Then Gremio won’t be lonely either! We want to make sure no one is lonely anymore! Don’t you, Tyr?

Definitely. Too many people have been leaving lately... It's easy to get lonely in a place like this.

This will cheer everyone up. We can even add blueberries.

Those little purple things that grow on bushes?

[Thinking… thinking… YAY! ]

That sounds like a great idea! It should make them extra good!

It will! [ He smiles brightly and pulls her along to the kitchen. ] Have you ever added things to pancakes before?

We did try that once but… for some reason the ice cream and gummi bears didn’t work out well.

[Not a chef this one. ]

[ She's worse than Tyr... ]

...Yeah, those don't really... I'll show you some better things to add.

[No one ever taught her how to cook. Not… that she would have made the best student anyway if she realized she was learning something. ]

Things like that don’t make good pancakes? They did come out a little mushy…

[ Dang it, Aska. She's a worse student than Tyr. And Tyr only cared about swinging a stick around. ]

No... It's better to use...more solid things. Like fruits and berries and chocolates... Ice cream would melt too soon to be good.

But we can have some on the side...

[Oh wow! Swinging a stick around might be a lot of fun! ]

And chocolates!? Those sound good! Can we throw some of those in too?

[Chocolate blueberry pancakes with ice cream… I hope Gremio likes them.]

[ When she's older he...might teach her... ]

Sure, we can put them in a few. We can make two batches.

[ Gremio will love them. ♥ ]

[There is an age limit on stick swinging? ^^ ]

That sounds good. Then Gremio will know we like him twice as much!

[ Only when it's trained for combat purposes... ]

Haha, that's right. He might need reminding sometimes... [ Because Cleo and Pahn aren't here... ]

[Oh well that does make a difference! ]

We wouldn’t want to forget something some thing as important as that.

[Hmm… ]

Maybe we should give him twice as many ice cream scoops too.

[ Indeed! 8D ]

[ He grins at Aska. ] You're right, we should. At least one per pancake.

[ While they talk, he gets the ingredients out for the pancakes. He might not be Gremio, but he did learn how to make pancakes from him. ]

[Aska doesn’t know what all goes into a good pancake but she does at least know they require milk. She had seen Umi using milk to make these before. So, trying to help, she runs over to the fridge to get the milk… which as it turns out is on a shelf too high for her to reach. She can grab the blueberries though!]

We got the berries! [Proudly stated even if that wasn’t what she was originally going for. ]

[ Tyr doesn't know the difference (and would prefer if she didn't go for the messier ingredients. ]

Good! Bring them over here. We'll put them in near the end.

[Aska walks over, climbs up on the nearest chair, and sets the berries up just where Tyr told her to. Since he knew more about cooking, why not, she would actually listen to him. ]

So, what do we do first?

[ It's more fun when she works with him anyway. It reminds him of when he was little.

He brings out some plastic measuring cups and a couple of mixing bowls along with other utensils to use. ]

We have to measure it all out.

[ He hands her a measuring cup. ] You can handle the flour. We need a little more than a cup.

[Oh dear, this might get a touch messy as Aska tries to get the flour out of the container it is in and into the much smaller measuring cup. This is managed with only getting a little stray flour on the counter, her hands, a sleeve… and when she goes to brush a stray hair out of her eyes she accidentally leave a streak of the white power on her face. But, the measuring cup is full! It’s a job well done! ]

And then do we put it in the bowl?

That's right. It goes in the bigger bowl.

[ He slides it closer to her before she has to reach and make a bigger mess. He doesn't mind the mess right now, though. ]

Then we need sugar...

Ok!

[With a small cloud of flour dust the ingredient is dumped out into the larger bowl and then the container of sugar is reached for. It was just out of reach but with a good stretch… the container is collected and brought close enough to get sugar out of it.]

How much do we need?

[ He just watches her reach for the sugar and grab it. She doesn't seem like she needs to be babied at the moment.

He passes her a tablespoon. ]

Just a spoonful. It'll be plenty sweet with everything else we'll add.

[It is tempting to put the spoonful of sugar in her mouth when she scoops it, but she decides better of it and deposits the sugar into the bowl where it belongs. ]

This is fun! We have never been able to cook like this before.

No? No-one has cooked with you before?

[ He might have been pretty disappointed with her if she did that! ]
